Fall Colours with Pride
Join us on Saturday, October 3rd in the beautiful Beaver Valley for an autumn hike in partnership with the Bruce Trail Conservancy. This hike is open to all, with a special invitation to members of the queer, 2S-LGBTQIA+ community, their allies and supporters. Participants do not need to be Bruce Trail members to register.
We’ll be taking a walk through the Eagle’s Summit area at the top of the escarpment where the views across the valley are lovely. Photo ops abound! Enjoy the peace and beauty of the mixed forest and meadows, while chatting with fellow hikers along the way. We’ll be moving along at a manageable, moderate pace for about 1 ½ hours, be sure to wear sturdy footwear with a good tread, dress for the weather and bring along a water bottle. We’ll meet at the Kimberly General Store at 10am. This is a dog friendly hike, dogs must be leashed.
